Ha Tinh Approves Investment Policy for Duc Anh Mechanical Manufacturing Plant in Vung Ang Economic Zone

The Ha Tinh Economic Zone Authority has issued Decision No. 171/QD-KKT approving the investment policy and investor selection for the Duc Anh Mechanical Manufacturing and Processing Plant Project, invested by Duc Anh Mechanical and Investment Co., Ltd.

The project will be located on a portion of Lot CN1-12 within the construction zonal plan of the Industrial and Auxiliary Service Zone, Southwest of the National Highway 1A Bypass, Vung Ang Economic Zone, Hoanh Son Ward, Ha Tinh Province, covering an area of approximately 17,500 square meters. According to the investment approval, the project has a total investment capital of VND 45.2 billion and an operational term of 50 years from the land allocation or lease date. The project aims to establish a manufacturing plant for processing mechanical products while offering workshop and warehouse rental services. Its designed capacity includes 5,000 tons of mechanical products per year, alongside approximately 8,000 square meters of factory space and warehouses for lease.

According to the plan, the investor will complete procedures regarding land, construction, environmental protection, fire safety, and other relevant legal documentation in accordance with regulations, while completing the entire project within 18 months from the date of land allocation or lease.

The addition of another mechanical engineering project to the Vung Ang Economic Zone is considered well aligned with the orientation to develop supporting industries and auxiliary services in the economic zone. Beyond creating additional mechanical processing capacity, the project will also develop a system of workshops and warehouses for lease, helping meet the demand for production space among secondary investors in the region.

In recent years, the Vung Ang Economic Zone has continuously attracted large-scale projects in metallurgy, energy, seaports, and logistics. Alongside major flagship projects, the demand for mechanical manufacturing, equipment processing, repair, maintenance, and industrial logistics services has risen steadily. Therefore, medium-sized projects operating in supporting industries—such as the Duc Anh Mechanical Manufacturing and Processing Plant—are expected to contribute to completing the local supply chain, reducing logistics costs, and enhancing connectivity among enterprises within the economic zone.

For Ha Tinh Province, continuing to attract investment in mechanical engineering and supporting industries reflects its strategy to diversify its investment structure. This serves as an important factor in raising added value, creating jobs for local workers, and bolstering the overall appeal of the investment environment in the Vung Ang Economic Zone.

Under the Investment Approval Decision, the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board requires the investor to fully comply with statutory provisions on investment, land, construction, environmental protection, and fire safety, ensuring project execution strictly adheres to approved objectives, scale, and timeline. Concurrently, specialized divisions under the Management Board will monitor, guide, and support the enterprise throughout project implementation.
